Sogeri Plateau - Lying at 600m above sea level and 46km inland, Sogeri offers beautiful views, landscapes, evergreen surroundings and temperatures cooler than Port Moresby. Some scenic attractions include the spectacular Rouna Falls, Varirata National Park, Crystal Rapids, and the famous Kokoda Track.

Owen Stanley Range - The Owen Stanley Ranges rises to 4000m and divides Central and Northern Provinces. Beneath the rugged mountain terrain exist deep cave systems, fertile coastal plains and dense rainforest. These ranges offer wonderful adventure opportunities for trekkers, cavers, and climbers.

Kokoda Track - The famous Kokoda Track stretches 96kms along the Owen Stanley Ranges and attracts thousands of overseas and national tourists every year. It was establised in 1942 in memory of the Australian and Japanese soldiers who fought and died during WWII. This historical track provides that rewarding sense of personal achievement for bushwalking, trekking, rock climbing or just exploring the beauty of nature or war relics.

Owers Corner - This is the entrance to the popular Kokoda Track, marked by the Kokoda monument. It is about an hour's drive from Port Moresby.

Loloata Island Resort - For a pleasant retreat of peace and relaxation, Loloata Island Resort is the place to be. This resort is just 20 minutes by car from Jacksons international airport and another 25 minutes by boat to the island. The resort ferry makes daily trips, upon bookings, from Tahira Boat Centre in Bootless Bay. Loloata provides colonial-style accommodation with conference facilities and there are amenities for fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking, sail boarding and other recreational activities. The island can be explored in about an hour by bushwalking or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach.

Yule Island - This beautiful island located about 115km northwest of Port Moresby through Hiritano Highway has attractive features typical of an 'island in the sea'. Journey by road takes about 2 hours, which will take you into the Kara Logging Point or Poukama and Delena villages where a dinghy will then take you to the island. Apart from enjoying the beautiful sceneries, fishing, swimming, sightseeing and bushwalking are some recreational activities to do whilst on the island.

Kokoda Trail Motel located at Sogeri along Laloki River offers rooms for rent, conferences, meals and entertainment facilities.

Bluff Inn Motel along Sogeri Road at 16 Mile provides rental accomodation, picnic, meals and conference facilities.

March Girls Resort lies along Magi Highway near Gaire village. It is a modern resort that caters for rental accommodation, picnic, meals, weddings and conference facilities.
